The controls are printed on the front in plain words — LIGHT, HIGH/LOW, MIST — so nobody needs a manual to turn it on.

Fill to the line, add a few drops of oil, pick a timer. One hour for a guest room, three for the evening, ON if you want it to run until the tank empties. Because the plate is ultrasonic and never heats the water, the oils keep their top notes and the room stays comfortable instead of damp.

When the water runs out the unit cuts power by itself within five seconds. That matters more than the spec sheet suggests: it is the difference between a diffuser you are happy to leave running in a child's room and one you are not.

Does it work with any essential oil?

Yes. Water-soluble oils and oil blends both work. Add three to five drops to a full tank; start low, since a 500 ml tank carries scent further than the small 100 ml units.

Can I use it without the light?

Yes. LIGHT is a separate button from MIST, so you can run a dark room with mist only, or use it as a night light with the mist off.

What happens if it runs dry?

A waterless sensor cuts power within about five seconds and the LED ring stops. Refill, and it starts normally on the next press — no reset needed.
